Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult & Pediatric
Setting: Hospital Emergency Department
Responsibilities: Emergency department coverage, evaluation and management of acute conditions, procedural care
Required Procedures: Airway management, central & arterial lines, suturing, I&D, fracture management, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, arthrocentesis, EKG interpretation, ventilation management, psychiatric evaluations
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: APP support (12 hours), full nursing staff, radiology and lab services
Days Per Month: As scheduled
On-Call/Weekends: Weekends required; no call
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified (IM/FM accepted with 2+ years recent ED experience)
- Active Michigan license at time of submission
- ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Local provider requirement
