We’re looking for a driven
Site Superintendent
to lead construction projects across the Midwest. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with a high-performing team, and seeing a project through from the ground up, this opportunity is for you.

Work Schedule and Travel
  • Availability for projects requiring after-hours and some weekends for occupied spaces (most projects)
  • Potential for travel out of town required, including full-time projects lasting up to 8 months
  • Typically travel home every two weeks; focus on keeping workers close to home.
Vehicle and Equipment Management
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean driving record
  • Professional upkeep and use of personal and company vehicles and equipment
  • Provide and use personal tools, with clarification of tools and expectations part of the interview process.
Pre-Construction Responsibilities
  • Perform a complete pre-construction project review
  • Review plans, RFI’s, Sub-Contractor proposals, Estimates, SOV, Bid Documents, RFP documents, and other project documentation
  • Redline documents and create a complete list of questions to understand the project
  • Prepare and participate in turnover meetings to provide feedback and get answers to questions from the Project Review.
Project Management and Execution
  • Full understanding of Schedule and Phasing Plans
  • Evaluate the job site to ensure the project scope is accurate
  • Account for materials and equipment onsite to ensure proper preparation
  • Coordinate activities of subcontractors and co-workers
  • Review plan discrepancies in the field
  • Evaluate workmanship and quality
  • Resolve discrepancies that may arise
  • Keep the project on schedule and within budget
  • Prevent fines and interruptions by conducting inspections and enforcing codes
  • Communicate with the Project Manager and client on issues and schedules
  • Daily use of technology (phones, emails, messaging, computers, Teams, Procore, Time management tools).
  • Procore daily activities include drawing review, document photos, daily log, mark‑ups, and executing RFI’s
  • Train and use Matterport, Open Space, Drones, and other technology
  • Evaluate and initiate change orders by collaborating with the Project Manager using Procore, sketches, marked‑up plans, and documentation.
Operational Standards and Problem Resolution
  • Meet operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews
  • Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards
  • Resolve problems and identify construction management system improvements
  • Meet construction budget by monitoring project expenditures and identifying variances
  • Implement corrective actions.
Project Oversight and Compliance
  • Define project purpose and scope
  • Calculate resources required, and establish standards and protocols
  • Allocate resources, schedule, and coordinate staff and subcontractors
  • Evaluate milestone assumptions and conclusions
  • Resolve design problems and implement change orders
  • Approve construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases
  • Obtain approvals from buyers
  • Prevent fines and interruptions by complying with and enforcing codes.
Safety and Environment
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures
  • Comply with legal regulations and understand Safety documentation
  • Review Site Specific Safety Plans, Job Site Analysis, and Toolbox Talks with personnel on site.
Communication and Teamwork
  • Enhance the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
  • Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Establish and maintain high staff morale, and model sound leadership, and teamwork
  • Advocate for clients and facilitate the availability of services and materials.
  • Make suggestions and recommendations for repair
  • Schedule delivery of needed materials and labor requests
  • Troubleshoot and identify construction problems, offering timely and safe solutions
  • Ensure the project proceeds on time.
Inventory and Reporting
  • Manage tool and materials inventory for each project
  • Ensure unused materials are accounted for and reported to the Director of Construction
