- Manage, develop and grow sales through the various channels of distribution, dealer, and performance shop partners.
- Work with both sales and purchasing departments of our distribution partners to make sure they are aware of the various categories of products and specific items with in each that are key to the success of the product line and brand.
- Keep our distributions channels up to date on new product as they are released and identify the key ones that need to be added to their offerings either as a stocking item, or special order.
- Push out MMY fitment updates and fitment chart updates as they become available from tech.
- Work with performance shop partners to identify any products they may need from us (EPI) in bulk for using in their own production of performance kits. Things like clutch weights, springs, bushings, etc.
- Work with both OEM’s and Distributors on any private label needs for both EPI and Seizmik.
- Identify and execute any product training seminars or shows within the industry and/or distribution network. This would include identifying ones to attend, planning and organizing the attendance and training for the event.
- Work with various buyers, customer service people and sale reps for our various distribution partners on a daily basis to handle and questions or concerns that arise in their daily interaction with their customer base. This may involve everything from a warranty question to fitment, or recommendations on product usage.
- Relay and work with our NPI group (engineering) on feedback from customers on any new product ideas for both EPI and Seizmik.
- Analyze and provide input to the pricing dept to help assure products are positioned competitively within the market space, along with having a firm grasp on margins and profitability.
- Approve new customer applications and work with customer service on setting up those accounts.
- Seek out new customer opportunities throughout the world to expand our distribution, dealer and performance shop footprint without causing any channel conflict within those territories.
