Role description
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with Oman Ministry of Labour
, ROP
, and environmental regulations - Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001
, and other applicable standards - Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification (HIRA), and job safety analysis (JSA)
- Lead accident/incident investigations and ensure corrective & preventive actions
- Monitor site safety performance and conduct regular HSE audits and inspections
- Coordinate emergency response plans, drills, and crisis management
- Ensure proper PPE usage and safety awareness across all departments
- Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety inductions
- Liaise with government authorities, clients, and third-party auditors
- Prepare and submit HSE reports, statistics, and compliance documentation
- Manage environmental controls such as waste management, spill prevention, and pollution control
