Key Responsibilities- Support the company’s multi-jurisdiction tax function, including preparation and review of federal corporate returns and state and local tax compliance
- Research and interpret complex tax laws to ensure accurate filings and regulatory compliance
- Maintain detailed tax work papers and documentation; assist with tax planning initiatives
- Reconcile and analyze tax-related general ledger accounts and book-to-tax differences, including 263A and Schedule M-1
- Assist with income tax provision calculations and entries under ASC 740
- Respond to tax authority inquiries and support federal, state, and local tax audits
- Monitor tax law changes, communicate impacts to leadership, and support tax-related internal controls and special projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with 5+ years of progressive tax accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance, including preparation of C-Corp income tax returns
- Experience with corporate tax provisions, compliance, and reporting; manufacturing or industrial background preferred
- CPA license or progress toward certification a plus
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
- Proficient with cloud-based productivity tools and effective written and verbal communicator
$110,000 - $130,000
