Local Driver – Battle Creek, MI

We are seeking a reliable, safety‑ and customer‑focused individual to join TForce Freight’s growing logistics team as a Local Driver. As part of our dynamic team, the Local Driver will safely operate a tractor‑trailer, deliver freight on time, and provide a positive, professional attitude to our customers.

• Operate a commercial vehicle transporting goods to various locations safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured correctly before departure.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and handling any inquiries or concerns.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs for driving hours, routes, and cargo conditions.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and any issues that may arise during transport.

• Impeccable customer service dedication
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in resident state
• Hazmat, tanker, and doubles endorsements
• Minimum age 21 years
• Meet all DOT and Company requirements
• Safe performance of essential job functions without risk of injury to self or coworkers
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
• U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
