Job Overview
Connected Logistics builds secure, mission‑critical IT and logistics solutions for the U.S. Army and other federal stakeholders. The Senior Web Developer/Engineer will work for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Program Office, located in Battle Creek, MI. The role is contingent upon award and on‑site. Responsibilities include developing high‑end client‑server based applications, designing and developing web pages, and porting applications to a web interface.
You will also interface with clients to determine requirements.

- Utilize C#.NET, HTML, and XML technologies.
- Maintain extremely strong customer relationship skills and work independently with no supervision.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, Java, and modern frameworks.
- Perform all software life‑cycle activities, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance and bug fixes.
- Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices, manage database schemas (SQL Server, Postgres), and integrate with legacy DoD systems and cloud environments (MS Azure, WS Gov Cloud, Azure SQL).
- Apply secure coding practices in accordance with DoD STIGs and RMF guidelines.
- Ensure applications meet compliance requirements for FISMA and DoD Impact Levels (IL).
- Maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
- Collaborate within cross‑functional, Agile or Dev Sec Ops teams to define requirements and deliver projects.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and technical staff.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, operating instructions, and user guides.
- Utilize Dev Sec Ops principles and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and continuous integration (Git Lab, Jenkins, Jira).
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues to maintain performance, security, and integrity of mission‑critical applications.
- Stay current with emerging web technologies, industry trends, and integrate AI tools for software upgrades.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field (required).
- Master of Science in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
- Five to ten years of experience in scripting, software development, web page design, and development.
- Knowledge of Front Page, Dream Weaver, or related applications.
- Strong experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong customer collaboration and relations skills.
- Experience with C#.NET, HTML, XML.
- IT II Non‑Critical Sensitive clearance, Tier 3 / Active Secret clearance at time of proposal.
- Category IAT Level II (SEC+, SEC+ CE, or CySA) required.
- Admin accounts/privileged access: experience with HPE Web inspect, MCSD App Builder, MCSA Web Applications, or MS Web Developer I.
