Retail Merchandising Specialist

BDS is looking for a Retail Merchandising Specialist to support consumer electronics brands by installing and maintaining displays across retail locations. The role offers weekly pay, paid training, a diverse assignment schedule, and the opportunity to work independently.

• Travel to assigned retail stores within your assigned territory
• Audit, maintain, and install consumer electronics displays and products such as TVs, tablets, headphones, speakers, printers, and phones
• Occasionally partner with team members on 2–3 person projects such as appliance or TV installs
• Build and maintain positive in‑store relationships
• Successfully complete assignments as assigned by your BDS Manager
• Ensure reporting is completed on time from your personal mobile device
• Schedule and complete work per BDS Standards and Expectations (provided during onboarding)
• Receive materials at home or pick up at Fed Ex and take to retail locations as requested
• Complete other tasks as requested by management

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Previous merchandising, customer service, and/or retail experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
• Proficiency using an Android or Apple device with GPS to upload photos, report assignment data, and reference documents
• Ownership of a basic toolkit (reimbursement after probation)
• Ability to complete BDS online training courses within the required timeline
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; must be 18 years or older

• Flexible availability Monday – Friday, early morning to midday, with occasional weekend hours
• Minimum 20 hours per week
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
• Ability to travel within a designated market up to 60‑mile radius (BDS pays drive time and mileage)

• Regularly stand, walk, bend over, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, grasp, push or pull, talk or hear, and drive
• Regularly lift and carry 40+ pounds
• Climb a ladder over 10 feet tall
• Complete certification to use moving equipment such as forklifts (may be required)
• Occasionally travel via flight or other modes of transportation

USD $17.00 per hour.
