• Full‑time employees are eligible for all benefits (medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products)
• Part‑time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) are eligible for Voluntary Life and Voluntary Short‑Term Disability
• Benefits start the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment

• Occasional mandatory travel required for training and development purposes
• Order food, following Bickford’s process, in a timely, cost‑effective manner
• Ensure appropriate information is available to produce meals (e.g., production sheets, recipes, prep/pull sheets, week’s extension menus, week‑at‑a‑glance menus)
• Prepare meals following Bickford’s menus, processes, and expectations
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures and appropriately plated
• Ensure Bickford’s process is followed during meal service
• Interact with residents in the dining room during meals to enhance their dining experience
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide
• Utilize residents’ Meal Order Information form to follow/track all resident physician‑ordered diets, allergies, and preferences
• Maintain food service records in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford’s policies
• Store food in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford’s policies
• Ensure completion of the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule
• Ensure the kitchen and dining room meet regulatory requirements and Bickford’s expectations for cleanliness
• Coordinate with marketing and life enrichment leaders to ensure appropriate food/refreshments are provided for tours and events

• High School Diploma or GED; one year of related experience
• Willing to take additional training or education as required by specific states
• Serv Safe, CPR and First Aid certifications required
• A valid driver’s license and a driving record that is consistent with Bickford’s insurance carrier guidelines
• Ability to handle multiple priorities; possess written and verbal skills for effective communication; competent in organizational and time-management skills; demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
