Key Responsibilities- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final product inspections according to specifications.
- Utilize precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product dimensions.
- Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in quality records.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials, initiating appropriate containment procedures.
- Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality standards to ensure product compliance.
- Perform calibration and maintenance of inspection and test equipment.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications (GD&T knowledge preferred).
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality control methodologies.
- Experience performing inspections, identifying non-conformances, and documenting results.
- Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data collection.
- Experience with CMM operation or programming.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement training.
- Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis.
- Internal auditing experience (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
