American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical unit position in Michigan, requiring a minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience and availability for every other weekend shifts.

• Hospital-based Medical/Surgical unit (37 beds) with a diverse patient population including general medical diagnoses and specialties such as GI, urological, and gynecological surgeries
• Additional patient populations include ortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, and surgical cases (GI, urology, hysterectomies, mastectomies)
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7p–7:30a, with 36 or 48-hour week options available
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6 on nights; may flex to 1:8 with LPN support as needed
• Every other weekend requirement
• Floating to other Med/Surg units is expected, typically once per week depending on unit needs

• Active MI RN license required (pending license accepted with confirmed ETA)
• Current BLS certification (AHA); pending accepted with confirmation of willingness to obtain
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience required; 2 years preferred

• Must be available for the first two weeks of orientation without interruption
• Works alongside a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, and techs across Med/Surg units
• Block scheduling is not available for this assignment
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
