2nd shift Process Verification Technician

Full-time

We have been developing, producing, and supplying valve seat inserts and valve guides for the automotive industry worldwide since 1954.

Position Summary

The Process Verification Technician is responsible for correct machining of components in a high volume automotive organization. It includes precision work producing parts in a safe, efficient way while maintaining high quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate assigned equipment on a daily basis, such as setting up electronic components, understanding machine mechanics, part changes, run rabbits and detecting difference between good and bad parts.
  • Follow safe practices at all times.
  • Meet quality requirements by identifying types of defects and likely causes. Immediately report or correct quality concerns as appropriate.
  • Complete preventative maintenance (TPM) tasks as scheduled or as necessary.
  • Measure parts to ensure high level of accuracy, reproducibility and repeatability using digital micrometers, bench gauges, dial indicators, digital calipers, metric measurements.
  • Complete both hands‑on and automated inspection of parts, read and execute routing packets, use strong computer skills and understand math equations.
  • CNC and Turning experience a plus.
Required Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing experience in a machining environment that includes grinders and lathes or equivalent technical training.
  • Excellent hand‑eye coordination.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with solid mechanical knowledge required. Vocational training in a machining related area strongly preferred.
  • BLEISTAHL can provide internal and external training as required for candidates lacking all qualifications.
