** JOB DESCRIPTION
** Job Summary Under the direction of a Tooling Supervisor, the Tool and Die Maker is responsible for repairing dies and making adjustments as needed to run dies in accordance with the customers’ standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Tool and Die Maker must be able to troubleshoot conditions in a production setting
* Perform die set operations
* Perform preventative maintenance on metal stamping dies
* Perform quality checks
* Perform other duties as required
* Tool and Die Maker must complete all required and applicable training required by Adient and its customers.

Qualifications
*
* Required:

*** High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a sheet metal stamping facility or similar experience
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience with large transfer and progressive dies
* Able to lift 40 lbs. frequently depending upon rework
* Standing 8 or more hours, walking to assist in seat build, rework, etc.
* Be able to work 2nd shift
** Preferred:
*** Journeyman Tool and Die Card from the Department of Labor
** Rate of Pay**: $35.43 per hour
