Battle Creek, Michigan (6th floor of Bronson Battle Creek Hospital)

Hours:

7:00 am – 7:00 pm

Pay: $24.00 per hour (shift differentials: $1.50 for nights, $1.25 for weekends)

We are a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world‑class inpatient post‑ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Nursing Assistants play a central role in delivering compassionate, excellent care every step of the way.

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin‑less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and care of hair.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients’ rooms clean and in orderly condition.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant).
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
