Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on industrial robots and automation equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues in robotic systems.
- Execute robot programming modifications, teach points, and calibrate axes to optimize production processes.
- Install, integrate, and commission new robotic work cells and peripheral equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and program changes.
- Ensure all robotic operations comply with safety standards and company policies.
- Support production by responding to breakdowns and minimizing downtime of automated systems.
- Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience with industrial robot programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
- Proficient in reading electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics, with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, including preventative maintenance and rapid response to production issues.
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Fanuc iRVision).
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python for data analysis or custom tool development.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) for reviewing designs or creating fixtures.
- Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, PROFINET) and basic IT troubleshooting.
- Prior experience contributing to the installation, commissioning, or upgrade of new robotic cells.
