Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement new tools, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and modification of existing production tooling to ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues on the production floor, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Optimize tooling designs and processes for improved efficiency, quality, cost-effectiveness, and extended lifespan.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and quality teams to define tooling requirements and integrate solutions.
- Manage external tooling suppliers, including procurement, quality assurance, and project timelines.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on tooling to proactively address potential failures.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in tooling design, fabrication, maintenance, or engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, CATIA) for tooling design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, material science, heat treatment, and various tooling materials.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize tooling performance for production efficiency and quality.
- Familiarity with GD&T principles, metrology, and inspection techniques.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or mold flow simulation software.
- Familiarity with automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Project management certification or proven experience leading complex tooling projects.
