Job Responsibilities:
All other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or senior management.
Assist in classrooms when needed and follow classroom guidelines and rules regarding children.
Assist in completing internal investigations.
Assist in organizing and facilitating the site Family Meetings.
Assist in the recruitment of children and families to our HS/EHS/GSRP programs.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director to determine staffing arrangements for all center level staff.
- Audit 10 % of your caseload of children’s files each month.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to conduct and log quarterly bus evacuation drills.
- Communicate with all classrooms on a daily basis.
- Complete home visit and socialization observations on each Home Visitor once each school year (where applicable).
- Complete observations in every classroom monthly.
- Comply with Agency’s Mission and Culture Statements.
- Comply with and administer compliance of program and Agency policies and procedures.
- Conduct performance evaluations for all supervised staff.
- Conduct monthly Family Review Meetings.
Responsible for insuring In-Kind goals are met and documentation is submitted to the data
team.
Ensure completion of annual classroom inventory.
Ensure that each child’s educational needs are met through curriculum and family involvement.
Ensure the accuracy and timely submission of timesheets for all supervised staff.
Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the physical facilities.
Establish and maintain a positive, effective working relationship with staff and families of varying educational and cultural backgrounds.
Facilitate and attend all required meetings in accordance with the ECS committee meeting structure.
Participate in the annual program self-assessment and continuous quality improvement initiatives of the overall program as well as the implementation of grant goals.
Participate in the required monitoring scheduleofcentersand/or individual classrooms to ensure quality of services are being met andto ensure staff compliance oftherequirements of the program regulations and theagency's policies and procedures. (monitoring schedule will be provided)
Monitor and assist as necessary in the transition process of children and ensure family involvement in all phases of transition.
Oversee all center level purchases for office, classroom and facilities supplies.
Provide daily supervision and direction to all center level staff/bus drivers/office personnel and oversight to Family Service Advocates and Ed Specialists
Responsible to keep assigned work area or classroom clean and perform facility checks and miscellaneous housekeeping duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
Responsible for the health and safety of their assigned center.
Physical Requirements:
Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driver’s record.
Work is performed in a classroom setting and school environment where the noise level is moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk, bend, stoop and kneel, see andhear, use hands and arms to lift up to 60 lbs. and walk around the classroom, outdoor play areaand school facilities.

Minimum Qualifications/Education :
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, social work, social science, education business administration or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of two to four years’ experience in supervision and management of early childhood programming (preferably serving low-income families).
Professional Competence and Job Knowledge :
- Must have excellent leadership skills.
- Must be reliable, trustworthy and have good attendance.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must have sound independent judgment and decision-making skills.
- Must have the ability to create and maintain satisfactory working relationships with staff, families and administration.
