The primary function of a CSR is to provide exceptional support to our customers, take orders and bill out invoices. This is a full time, non‑exempt position reporting to the Customer Service Department Manager.

Job Duties
  • Engage with customers via telephone, email, or in person, offering expert support and information on our products and services.
  • Handle customer billing and cash deposits with precision and efficiency.
  • Collect and process orders for new or additional products or services.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in filling propane cylinders if required, maintaining safety protocols at all times.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Assist in sorting and distributing mail, contributing to efficient office operations.
  • Prepare deposits on weekends, demonstrating reliability and commitment to task completion.
  • Answer incoming calls and provide backup support to the receptionist as needed, ensuring seamless customer service.
  • Process driver tickets and invoicing tasks accurately and promptly.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints, escalating issues beyond your scope of knowledge to the appropriate specialist.
  • Maintain records of interactions with the customers in an organized manner.
  • Exhibit exceptional proficiency and accuracy with data entry, proficient in MS applications.
  • Apply principles of customer services ethics and procedures.
  • Proficiency in administrative and documentation procedures.
  • Strong organizational and reasoning skills.
  • Versatile and willing to adapt to a situation with a customer.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments and supervisors to find solutions and resolve customer matters promptly.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with our services, maintaining our company's reputation for excellence.
  • Possesses physical capability to stand or sit for extended periods, adapting to the demands of the role.
  • Thrive in high‑stress situations, managing frequent interruptions and loud background noise with professionalism and composure.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, maintaining courtesy and friendliness towards customers and coworkers at all times.
  • Engage in regular interaction with peers on‑site, fostering collaboration and teamwork through face‑to‑face meetings and spontaneous conferences.
  • Demonstrate commitment to regular and reliable attendance, contributing to the smooth functioning of the department.
  • Operate with constant alertness and prioritize safety in all tasks, ensuring a secure work environment.
  • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the team.
Qualifications / Experience / Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in administrative and documentation procedures.
  • Strong organizational and reasoning skills.
  • Excellent administrative writing, reporting, scheduling, organizational, time management, and presentation skills.
  • Able to pass 7‑year criminal background check.
