Bookkeeper - Battle Creek Area

Salary Range: $44,000 - $64,000 depending on experience

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Record and reconcile all financial transactions, including general ledger entries.
• Process payroll for all employees, maintaining accurate records and compliance.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts monthly.
• Prepare financial statements such as Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports.
• Assist in tracking inventory costs and related manufacturing expenses.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP Business One) and ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and general ledger management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes accurately.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to data accuracy.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite) commonly used in manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation methods.
• Familiarity with fixed asset management, particularly for machinery and equipment.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
