Growing Electrical Contractor seeking billing specialist.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Billing Clerk located in Battle Creek, MI. The Billing Clerk will handle daily billing processes such as creating and processing invoices, document management, change order tracking, and ensuring accurate accounting and financial records. The role also involves maintaining clear communication with team members and clients to address billing-related inquiries and discrepancies, while supporting overall office operations as needed.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Billing Process and Invoicing
- Experience with Foundation Accounting software preferred.
- Knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles
- Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency in accounting software and office tools such as spreadsheets
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in business or related field is a plus
- Experience in similar roles within the construction or utilities sector is beneficial
