Warehouse Associate

Overview

Carrier Enterprise is looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Warehouse Associate for our Baton Rouge, LA location.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming HVAC equipment and parts & supplies, picking, scanning and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving product in the warehouse. Our Warehouse Operations are bin located and the goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

• Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Keeping an inventory of all products entering or exiting the warehouse
• Upholds Environmental Health and Safety standards
• Scanning products to ensure products are shipped to the right destination
• Works closely with internal customers (Store Associates and Sales Managers) for delivery of products
• Provides excellent customer service to external customers (mechanical contractors, dealers, owners)

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of warehouse operational experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• PC skills and inventory and shipping/receiving systems experience
• Current Forklift certification
• Proven experience in warehouse operations
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal (Team building) skills
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe working environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed
