Regional Lead Dispatcher – Waste Pro USA

Summary of Position

The Dispatcher coordinates daily operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role requires strong dispatch experience, the ability to adapt quickly to changing operational needs, and proven leadership skills to train, mentor, and support team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor team performance and provide real-time guidance to maintain productivity and service standards.
  • Quickly identify and resolve operational issues, route changes, staffing challenges, and service disruptions.
  • Train, mentor, and support dispatch staff to promote continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Handle conflict resolution between drivers, dispatch staff, and operations as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with field personnel and management regarding operational updates and challenges.
  • Maintain composure and effectiveness in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by adjusting plans and traveling as needed to support operational requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of dispatch experience required.
  • Waste industry experience preferred, but not required.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel and adjust schedules as operational needs require.

Work Environment
  • Normal setting: office. Will be willing to travel to multiple divisions.
