Location: Baton Rouge, LA

EMR is one of the world’s leading metal recycling companies. We are seeking an experienced CDL driver for our Baton Rouge depot.

• Transport materials to and from designated locations safely and efficiently.
• Pick up full containers and unload in designated locations.
• Secure loads according to DOT guidelines.
• Maintain contact with dispatch and report trip numbers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Valid Class A license.
• General knowledge of state & federal motor carrier regulations.
• General knowledge of truck & trailer mechanics.
• Ability to operate vehicle safely.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Creative problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment.
• Customer service skills.
• Must pass background check, physical, and drug screening.

This role requires PPE: steel‑toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, high‑visibility gear, and ear protection. Expect exposure to dust, fumes, and noise in a fast‑paced recycling environment.
