Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday (On‑site)

Double F Logistics is seeking a Dispatcher/Logistics Lead to join our team in Baton Rouge! This position plays a key role as the connection between our customers and CDL drivers — ensuring loads are dispatched efficiently, problems are solved quickly, and service stays exceptional.

• Dispatch daily loads and coordinate with drivers
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and drivers
• Organize and problem‑solve to ensure safe, cost-effective, on‑time performance
• Support company and customer procedures
• Communicate effectively to maintain strong customer relationships
• Inspect trucks and trailers as needed
• Assist the Logistics Manager and act as backup when required

• 3+ years of experience in transportation or logistics
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• High school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Experience with dispatch software a plus
• Availability to be on‑call every other week (24/7)
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail and decision‑making ability
• Flexibility and responsiveness
• Strong customer service mindset and empathy
