Senior Full Stack Engineer – Pearson

We are building the next generation of assessment technology platforms. We are looking for outstanding candidates to bolster the staff of this critical work.

• Analyze, design, and implement high‑quality code for cutting‑edge assessment technology platforms.
• Participate in requirements, design, and code reviews and maintain mission‑critical applications.
• Work closely with QA, configuration management, and end users to release high quality software and write unit tests.
• Take ownership of performance, security, and quality process improvement activities.

• Full‑stack engineering experience with Go, JavaScript/Type Script, Vue.js, Python, Postgres, and Mongo
  
  DB.
• Experience developing and supporting cloud‑hosted applications on AWS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technology discipline.
• Experience building SaaS applications and maintaining highly available, highly concurrent web‑based solutions.
• Proficiency with Git or similar version‑control systems and agile development practices.

• Experience with AI tools and large language models.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and architecture‑design skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork.
• Strong time‑management and self‑starter attitude, detail‑oriented, and ability to thrive under pressure.

• IMS LTI, IMS QTI, IMS One Roster, Ed‑FI, and Caliper reporting frameworks.

Base salary range: $110,000 – $150,000. Annual incentive program available. Detailed benefits information is available.
