Office of Workers' Compensation
Louisiana Works is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Compliance Analyst to join the Office of Workers’ Compensation Administration (OWCA). OWCA enforces Louisiana’s workers’ compensation laws by improving workplace safety, supporting early return-to-work efforts, and ensuring regulatory compliance through fraud investigations, dispute resolution, audits, and statewide injuring reporting.
The Workers’ Compensation Compliance Analyst performs research, statistical analysis, and technical support to ensure OWCA meets all statutory reporting obligations, with emphasis on the OWCA Annual Report. The position also manages records requests and contributes to agency-wide data quality and compliance initiatives.
Responsibilities- Compile, edit, and disseminate OWCA's Annual Report, quarterly reports, and ad hoc reports for executive leadership, the Governor, Chief Justice, and Legislature.
- Develop comprehensive statistical summaries of workplace injuries, illnesses, and fatalities across Louisiana.
- Conduct technical research and analyze datasets using IAIABC's EDI platforms, Analyzer and Capture.
- Fulfill public and nonpublic records requests from OWCA's hearing records and databases (Just Ware, File Net, lnfeauxnet, WC00, etc.).
- Audit and reconcile deposit records and Compliance Cash Receipt reports to ensure payment accuracy for record services.

Three years of experience in workers' compensation claims or dispute resolution, injury investigation, insurance claims examining, or statistical analysis; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR
A bachelor's degree.
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
