• Install, test, and balance energy management systems as they pertain to the installation of controls for refrigeration systems, HVAC-R, and lighting in grocery store and cold storage environments.
• Repair, test, adjust, or install electronic equipment such as industrial controls, transmitters, and antennas.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff; ensure compliance with internal contracting processes regarding customer documentation and closeout processes.
• Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test equipment or software; inspect components for accurate assembly and installation and identify defects.
• Maintain knowledge of energy management, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems (Novar, Danfoss, Emerson CPC).
• Maintain equipment logs documenting performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests.
• Read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, contract documents, control drawings, service bulletins, and manuals; determine installation procedures.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret technical instructions and manage multiple variables.
• Troubleshoot electrical and controls problems, propose solutions, and implement them.

• Formal Education Requirement:
  High School OR Ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred level:

  5 years of experience with HS/GED
• Additional Information: EPA 608 Certification preferred but not required;
  Valid Driver's license and a safe driving record; physically able to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds; excellent verbal and written communication, detail oriented, and highly motivated; mechanical aptitude; ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as required; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational and time management skills; high level of professionalism and diplomacy;
  
  strong customer focus and project management skills; ability to work both independently and in a team with minimal supervision.
