Technician, Refrigeration​/HVAC

Position Summary

Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician – Walmart local retail store. If you have relevant experience, bring your skills to our fast‑paced and welcoming work environment.

Support and oversee repair of Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and hand, digital, power tools and other equipment to complete jobs.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience
• Type I/Type II or universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean driving record
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines by performing work according to practices and procedures outlined in the Walmart refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• Individual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, level of job offer, qualifications and other job‑related factors.
• Eligible for bonus incentive.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 – $45.00
* * The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
