About the Role:

The Maintenance Technician at Shoe Creek plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all facility equipment and infrastructure. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to prevent downtime and maintain a safe working environment. The technician will work closely with operations and management teams to identify maintenance needs and implement effective solutions promptly.

By maintaining equipment reliability and facility integrity, the role directly supports production goals and overall business continuity. This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and compliance.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including conveyor systems, HVAC units, and production machinery.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving measures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and systems as required.
