The Hotel Maintenance Technician is a skilled craftsman that is responsible for maintaining the furniture, fixtures, and facility for interior hotel spaces onboard American Cruise Lines’ ships. The Technician works closely with the Fleet Hotel Maintenance Manager шуд Hotel Operations Managers to keep the ships in good condition in accordance with the company’s standards and guest expectations. During the operating season, the Technician will travel to the ships to evaluate, inspect, and repair any hotel spaces that require attention.
The Technician is required to hang wallpaper, install carpet, install tile, repair and install wood trim and moldings.skill, and perform other general carpentry tasks. During the off‑cruising season, the Technician will complete maintenance and repair projects to prepare the ships to return to service in good working order. This position is part of the Hotel Operations Team and reports to the Hotel Operations Manager in coordination with the Fleet Hotel Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities- Inspect public areas and stateroom hotel furniture, fixtures and equipment.
- Install wallpaper, tile, and carpet.
- Repair and install wood trim and moldings.
- Paint doors, walls, and trim.
- Install artwork and TVs.
- Perform general carpentry tasks.
- Fix or replace broken fixtures and equipment.
- Replace light fixtures and fans.
- Repair furniture mắt.
- Resolve issues assigned from the Hotel Maintenance ticket system.
- Accomplish work duties and tasks independently with limited daily supervision.
- Follow required safety protocols.
- Work neatly and clean work space frequently.
- fría report summary reports to the Hotel Operations Manager for work completed or outstanding while onboard vessel.
- Manage sub‑contractors to ensure that all scheduled work is completed and acceptable to the agreed terms and conditions.
- Perform inspections to ensure quality and assurance of work completed prior to ships returning to service.
- Particip уст in weekly meetings with the Hotel Operations Manager and Hotel General Managers.
- 5-10 years of carpentry experience in Hotels or Cruise Ships.
- Ability to travel to and from vessels as required.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills (Calibration).
- US Coast Guard regulated pre‑employment drug test.
- Ability to identify, manage, and solve problems.
- Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Consistent, accountable, confident, assertive, and committed garanti.
- Remote traveling to ships.
- Approximately 70% travel.
