Liquid Railcar Loader – Baton Rouge, LA (Non‑exempt, full‑time, entry level)

• Assist personnel with loading activities and routine tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Report to the Foreman and perform duties in accordance with specific procedures.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the supervisor and follow all established plant and company policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of rigging and rigging components.
• Familiarity with Turner Industries monthly/quarterly color codes.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Post‑offer drug/alcohol screening, physical evaluation, and acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy.
• Compliance with company and client job‑site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others.

Accountable for the performance of scheduled work while observing operating processes, equipment, and maintenance needs. Communicate with the supervisor as necessary to ensure maximum performance as outlined by targeted goals. Follow all established plant and company policies, including emergency procedures, and be alert for changing conditions to take any necessary actions. Perform additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.

• Climbing ladders, scaffolds, and structures above and below ground level.
• Maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures.
• Reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and materials.
• Lifting 30–50 pounds from ground, waist, or overhead.
• Standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, crouching/squatting.
• Operating tools and equipment with coordinated eye, hand, and finger movements.
• Using respirator and other PPE; using stepstools.
• Working in excessive heat, cold, and loud environments.
