About the Role:

Gottfried Construction, LLC is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our dynamic team in Baton Rouge, LA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our projects, ensuring the installation and maintenance of piping systems that meet our high standards of quality and safety.

• Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems in various construction projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Perform welding and soldering tasks to connect piping components securely.
• Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and other malfunctions.
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Provide guidance and training to apprentices and junior fitters as needed.

• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Valid pipe fitting certification or relevant trade license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques, materials, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
