Associate Field Service Representative - Baton Rouge, LA

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking an Associate Field Service Representative in Baton Rouge, LA. The role is on-site at the location detailed in the job post. The expected annual salary range for this role is $53,253.00 - $78,104.40 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

In this role, you will:

• Provide field service assistance to customers by supporting Eaton field service representatives by performing installation, startup, maintenance, repair, and electrical power distribution equipment modification.
• Assist office personal & field service team with assigned tasks
• Assist with shipping & receiving
• Perform warehousing & material handling
• Prepare materials, test equipment and tools so that jobs are properly staged for success
• Be responsible for both stock and special order inventory management
• Maintain records and data entry around reports

• High School Diploma or higher
• Must be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the future
• No relocation offered, candidates within 50-mile radius considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

• 2-year technical degree or similar experience in military training
• Minimum 2 years of electrical or mechanical industry experience
• Experience in basic testing and servicing electrical distribution and control systems is highly desirable.
• Forklift or industrial equipment operation
• Experiencing in wiring, reading wiring diagrams and understanding schematics
• Proficient with hand and power tools for equipment assembly
• Works well under time constraints and in stressful situations
• Collaborates effectively with the team to meet project deadlines
• Problem-solving and logical thinking skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC card
• Must have a valid driver's license

• Proficient computer skills
• Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with electrical and electronic equipment
• Demonstrated ability to provide service and represent company interests in developing customer relationships to assure long-term customer satisfaction
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license in order to occasionally operate Eaton fleet pool vehicles
• Must have the ability to work variable hours, including nights and weekends, and travel within the district / state / region / country based on customer requirements
• Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton’s safety program and policy
• Submit to periodic customer required background and drug screenings
• Performs physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, stooping, squatting, kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and handling with hands; occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds
