Outside Sales / Service Representative

Role Overview

As an Outside Sales / Service Representative, you’ll generate revenue through new and existing client relationships, drive territory growth, and act as a trusted JM Test Systems representative. You’ll manage consultative sales, provide exceptional service, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a sales territory, acquiring new business while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Conduct consultative, technical, and relationship‑based selling.
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Attend trade shows and customer meetings to promote products and services.
  • Safely operate company vehicle and handle transport of test equipment.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of outside/territory sales experience, preferably in industrial, technical, or service industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas.
  • Knowledge of calibration, electrical testing, instrumentation, or related B2B sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultative selling skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to pass background and safety checks.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Industrial Sales, or a technical field.
  • Formal sales or safety/compliance training.
