We are searching for an INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE to join our growing New/Used Machine Sales operations at our Prairieville, LA location.
YouThe Inside Sales Representative s goal will be to increase their assigned Retail (small to medium sized) Customer s overall experience, identify and qualify new customers, while increasing revenue for Machine Sales. The ISR is the voice of the dealership to the customer, and the voice of the customer to the dealership. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to transition from real estate, mortgage, or insurance sales.
YourContribution
- Build relationships with existing and potential customers in the territory by strategic cold calling, prospect engagement, and business development
- Establish customer relationships with you as a single point of contact
- Qualify, maintain, and update customer account and asset information using CRM system
- Manage CQI (Customer Quality Index)
- Place open dialogue calls to assigned accounts (20+ connected per day)
- Field and direct incoming customer calls and walk-ins appropriately
- Learn, understand, and advise solutions for your customer s business issues
- Prospect/quote/sell new and used machines, machine warranties, machine maintenance agreements, and e-commerce
- Generate and forward comprehensive leads for everything the Company offers
- Know/apply all promotions and marketing campaigns when applicable
- Become accustomed to understanding customer buying signals and learn to close deals
- Maintain knowledge of competitive pricing, procedures, and trends
- Understand full-range of new and existing capabilities and features of all the Company s products
- Research and stay current on changes to existing part and service offerings
- Collaborate with outside Part Service Sales Representatives and Service Department personnel
- You will promote positive customer experience for Louisiana CAT according to Caterpillar and Louisiana CAT expectations
- You will develop a knowledge base of parts and service offerings
- You will maintain good work habits and positively promote Caterpillar and Louisiana CAT
- You will have the tools and building blocks to MAKE A CAREER here at Louisiana CAT
- HIGHLY PREFERRED:
Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field - REQUIRED:
Good verbal communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving ability - REQUIRED:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook - REQUIRED:
Ability to multi-task in an organized, effectively, timely, and professional manner - HIGHLY PREFERRED:
Well-developed communication and organizational skills - HIGHLY PREFERRED:
Proficiency in computers and related software
- SHIFT: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
- Will require physical movement as listed in the job description
