Description
Woerner Turf and Landscape Supply of Baton Rouge, the Baton Rouge area's leading wholesale and retail landscape supply outlet, is seeking a dynamic Inside Sales & Customer Service Counter Professional to join our winning team.
Responsibilities- Proactively reaching out to potential and existing customers by phone, email, or online
- Responding to customer telephone inquiries
- Assisting online and walk-in customers in the selection of products based on their landscaping requirements
- Product merchandising
- Receiving items into inventory and inventory management
- 3 – 4 years wholesale/retail sales experience, preferably within the landscape/garden supply/horticulture industry
- Knowledge of landscape supply products would be a plus
- Knowledge of sod varieties is a plus
- High energy
- Well organized
- Detail-oriented
- Self-starter with excellent customer service skills
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
- Enhanced computer skills
- Experience in the landscape industry preferred
- Chance for personal growth in the company
Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule- Day shift
- Monday to Friday (Part-Time)
- Saturdays, as needed
- English (Spanish Helpful)
- Forklift Certification (Preferred, will train)
- Baton Rouge, LA 70817 (Required)
