We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Assistant Store Managers earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $5.81 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Assistant Store Managers are accountable for day‑to‑day store operations and promoting a positive, productive environment. Partnering with the Store Manager, they lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations and satisfaction. This role analyzes store financial statements and ensures financial goals are met.
Responsibilities- Lead a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly, professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues
- Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise and ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets
- Administer store inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, systems, and reporting
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans
- Evaluate the store’s financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting
- Maintain operating standards meeting or exceeding First Cash standards
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure the value and integrity of all loans issued
- Communicate clearly with employees to ensure they understand the store’s mission and profit objectives
- Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager
- Complete assigned training tasks and self‑development requests
- Other related duties as assigned
- Must be able to perform duties and tasks requiring extended periods of standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting (including lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds)
- Demonstrated ability to supervise others effectively
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification
- Must work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays; 40+ hours per week (hours not guaranteed)
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Computer literate and proficient with point‑of‑sale systems and common office machines
- Excellent work ethic, strong business sense, cash handling experience, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills and analytical ability
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Should be able to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate
The assistant store manager commission plan is proprietary to First Cash. Assistant Store Managers have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
