Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Customer Service Rep
Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. The role requires acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented. The associate prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepts consumers, demonstrates products professionally, and maintains a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Pay Rate is $14.00/hr.
Responsibilities- Possesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercepts, engages, interacts, and sells product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicates the features and benefits of products.
- Prepares and serves food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
- Maintains a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintains a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
- Properly sets up and prepares event table for execution.
- Achieves 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assists with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections.
- Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Completes expense reports as per company policy.
- Accurately prepares and submits all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Accesses the internet, navigates company electronic systems, uses Microsoft Outlook, and views assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on business needs.

Qualifications- Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Computer
Skills:
Proficient in using and navigating a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required.
- Physical Demands: The associate will be required to stand and walk during the shift, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift/carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push/pull a wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages using appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
- Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
- Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and proper grooming; must present a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance; specific retailer dress code included in training documents.

English primary; bilingual skills may be required.
