Production Lead (College Dr)

Essential Functions:
Assist with day‑to‑day store operation and production performance, meeting or exceeding budget while complying with company standards, policies and procedures. Perform supervisory duties when assigned by the Store Manager or Production Manager, acting in a supervisory capacity during scheduled work hours.
- Reach production goal guidelines (minimum 110 garments per hour with a minimum quality standard of 90%).
- Ensure proper production of donations is processed and ready for store floor.
- Act as a positive role model for employees and trainees in all aspects of professional performance.
- Produce donated goods in the backroom and maintain a clean store environment with attractive displays and personable personnel.
- Maintain safe and appropriate conditions in the back‑room area.
- Keep the store clean and hazard‑free by vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Observe personnel and safety policies and procedures; ensure compliance by Production Associates.
- Perform the job duties of the Production Associates when required.
- Attend assigned shifts as scheduled by the manager.
- Assist Manager in achieving/exceeding production goals monthly and annually and help implement contingency plans if needed.
- Interact professionally and productively with a diverse array of people.
- Market Goodwill and explain its mission to the general public.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with store and production personnel, motivating them to best performance.
- Work a flexible schedule at short notice, including nights and weekends, occasionally long hours.
- Use repetitive hand movements when buttoning, sorting, hanging, and zipping garments.
- Engage in prolonged standing, walking, frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Function in a fast‑paced work environment, occasionally high volume.
- High School diploma or GED and 6 months supervisory experience or a minimum of 90 days in the service industry.
- Read, write and communicate clearly in English.
- Prior work experience in the service industry preferred.
- Successfully complete Retail training.
Frequent physical exertion, frequent movement, conditioned indoor temperatures with occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
