The Host(ess) provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external guests. Greeting and seating, managing the reservation system, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation are daily responsibilities. Customer service, salesmanship, timeliness, and teamwork are values that make our Hosts successful. Responsible to perform all duties according to policies, procedures, alcohol laws, guidelines, and Internal Controls.

• Smiles, provides exceptional customer service, and always treats guests and coworkers with respect.
• Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings.
• Manage the reservation system, greet and seat guests, set server rotation, and control the flow of dining areas.
• Knowledgeable in the products the company serves.
• Understands customer service and execution of standards is what makes this position successful for the company and the team members.
• Set and keep restaurant workstations and the surrounding areas properly stocked, clean, safe, and organized.
• Ability to uphold great communication with guests, building rapport and engaging in friendly conversations.
• Communicate all guest service opportunities and product shortages or issues to management.
• Serve food/drink, greats and seat guests, buss, and runs food/drink, does side work, plus any other normal functions required to service our guests under normal operating conditions.
• Follow the company’s attendance policy as well as other rules and regulations set forth in the handbook.
• Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work tasks requested by departmental leaders.
• Immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues to the appropriate party.
• Ensure the proper steps of service, and our guests needs, are being met.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 1 year Host experience in a fast‑paced environment, required.
• Food Handler Certification, required.
• High School Diploma/GED, required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have basic mathematical skills.
• Hep A vaccination on, or before, first day of work.
• Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays.
• Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written.
