For over 7 years, Furry Land Mobile Pet Grooming has been delivering high-quality, personal pet grooming services right in the driveway of our clients’ homes. Baton Rouge Furry Land offers a unique mobile spa experience for dogs and cats, ensuring a stress-free and convenient grooming process for both pets and their owners.

As a Mobile Pet Groomer, you will:

• Work in a supportive and flexible environment where your skills are valued.
• Enjoy working in state-of-the-art 2023 Mercedes Sprinter vans, equipped with the latest insulation technology for year-round comfort.
• Benefit from a stable base pay or commission, paid sick leave, vacation time, and tips.

This is a part-time opportunity. Must be available to work Sundays and Mondays.

• Drive our modern grooming van to appointments in the Baton Rouge area.
• Provide professional grooming services, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to customer preferences and breed standards.
• Ensure pets' safety and comfort during the grooming process using gentle handling techniques.
• Conduct thorough assessments of pets' coat, skin, and overall health, notifying owners of any concerns.
• Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommend home care products.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming van, ensuring equipment and supplies are sanitized.
• Manage appointments efficiently and provide outstanding customer service.

• A love for animals!
• Proven experience as a professional pet groomer with expertise in various grooming techniques, breed‑specific cuts, and coat types.
• Grooming license for any areas we service (required).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to handle pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality services.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays based on customer demand.
• Certification from a reputable grooming school (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and manage heavy dogs temporarily.
