RN - Med​/Surg Nights

Are you passionate about coordinating compassionate care that improves lives every day?

• Compassionate, team-oriented RN with a strong initiative and attention to detail
• Experience in nursing (1 year preferred)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Louisiana RN licensure required
• Proficient in patient assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Strong documentation, communication, and patient education skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and safety protocols

Coordinate patient care by integrating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and support services.

• Collect and prioritize health data for physical and psychosocial assessments, involving patients and relevant parties
• Identify nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes based on assessments, prioritizing by patient condition
• Develop and document individualized plans of care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Implement interventions aligned with the care plan, ensuring timely treatments, medications, and education
• Delegate tasks appropriately while maintaining oversight and accountability
• Reassess patient condition regularly, updating care plans and evaluating treatment effectiveness
• Maintain documentation for assessments, interventions, and education provided
• Contribute to discharge planning and coordinate with support services
• Perform other duties as assigned
