Position: RN - Skilled Nursing (FT Days )

We are seeking a caregiver who is proven to provide EXCELLENT service! BRGMC recognizes the unique skills a Registered Nurse (RN) must encompass for the care of the geriatric resident population. The successful candidate will strengthen their leadership skills by directing and supervising the care of the resident by Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. The RN functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary Care Team and regularly communicates with team members in regard to the care and treatment of the resident.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Current Louisiana RN Licensure, BLS certified, 1 year of nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct and supervise care of residents by Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants.
Act as a member of the Interdisciplinary Care Team and communicate regularly with team members regarding resident care and treatment.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana.
BLS certification.
Preferred 1 year of nursing experience.
