At the Baton Rouge Orthopedic Clinic, our goal is to provide a seamless continuum of healthcare services to maximize patient outcomes and convenience. We offer an organized and coordinated continuum to provide better and timelier feedback between the patient, physician, and ancillary services provider. Our main campus is located on Bluebonnet, with various clinics and therapies across Louisiana, as well as the BROC foundation supporting local schools and athletic programs.

Working directly with physicians and Clinical Managers, the duties of this role are vital to our team. RNs provide direct patient care in areas of patient mobility, diagnostic testing, and general support. It is essential that our nurses perform technical duties to assist patients and physicians in maintaining healthcare standards. The position is located in the Bluebonnet office clinics, working Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.

• Schedule diagnostic tests/surgeries as ordered by physicians and prepare paperwork for pre-certification.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of instruments, exam rooms, and casting areas.
• Ensure smooth patient flow through the clinic.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA regulations at all times.
• Scan medical records into electronic patient charts.
• Coordinate patient activities and document during visits.
• Meet patients' basic needs during exams.
• Triages patients over the phone and documents messages.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed.
• Schedule follow-up and return appointments.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Licensed with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
• Experience with EPIC highly preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Prior experience is desirable.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.
• Ability to learn computerized medical office systems.
