Pay Rate: $55/hr Job Summary:
We are seeking a fully competent Endoscopy Registered Nurse to independently function in all endoscopy-related procedures, including advanced techniques such as EUS, ERCP, bronchoscopy, EBUS, and robotics. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical expertise, aligns with the mission and values, and can integrate seamlessly into the interdisciplinary care team while providing high-quality, patient-first care. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide independent nursing care during all endoscopic and pulmonary procedures, including advanced procedures (ERCP, EUS, EBUS, and ION Robot).
• Apply the nursing process effectively throughout patient care delivery.
• Assess patient learning needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies.
• Lead and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team; delegate and manage nursing resources efficiently.
• Use data and clinical information to drive improvement and optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain patient dignity and adapt communication to meet the needs of diverse populations.
• Uphold and represent the mission, values, and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Perform other related nursing duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Endoscopy RN, including ERCP, EUS, and EBUS procedures.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

• Experience with bariatric procedures and ION robotic-assisted technologies.
• Familiarity with the systems and care protocols.

Required Skills:

• Endoscopy and Pulmonary Procedure Competency (ERCP, EUS, EBUS)
• Clinical Autonomy and Decision-Making
• Strong Patient Communication and Advocacy

Preferred Skills:

• ION Robotic Procedure Support
• Specialty Certification in Endoscopy or Critical Care
• GI/Bariatric Procedure Support

Additional Skills:

• Computer and EHR proficiency
• Team leadership and delegation
• Organizational and time management excellence

Education:

• Registered Nurse diploma (required)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred)

Certifications:

• Active RN license in Louisiana (required)
• BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association (required)
• Certification in clinical specialty area (preferred)
