In this Full Time Registered Nurse role at Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital in Baton Rouge, La, you will play a crucial part in the patient care process. You will be responsible for assessing new patients within 8 hours of their admission, ensuring immediate and effective care. Your duties will include providing individual nursing care as directed by physicians, managing daily medication administration, and closely monitoring and securely storing medications.

Additionally, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate personalized treatment plans, while dictating and writing progress notes for both one-on-one and group sessions in alignment with hospital policies. As a proactive member of our team, you will assist in coordinating risk management activities to mitigate potential injuries and financial losses for patients, staff, and visitors. Finally, you will complete and sign essential admission paperwork and documentation, adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
