- A mission-driven, results-oriented fundraising professional with strong relationship-building skills.
- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of direct fundraising experience with proven success in individual and corporate giving.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding fundraising goals.
- Experience managing a donor portfolio, moves management, and closing solicitations.
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, master's degree in nonprofit management or related field preferred.
- Special Skills, Licenses, and Knowledge Requirements:
- Proficiency with donor CRM systems (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, Bloomerang).
- Strong interpersonal, written, and presentation skills; comfortable making in-person solicitations.
- Ability to learn and implement AI tools for donor engagement while ensuring ethical use and data privacy.
- CFRE certification preferred (or willingness to pursue).
- Volunteer management experience and healthcare fundraising experience a plus.

What You Will DoServe as a key member of the Baton Rouge General Foundation team to advance philanthropic support for the hospital and its programs.
- Manage a portfolio of 100–125 mid-level and major gift prospects, including individuals, corporations, grateful patients, and planned giving prospects.
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors to meet and exceed annual fundraising revenue goals.
- Create compelling donor-facing materials, case statements, proposals, and reports.
- Build and grow support for Foundation campaigns, programs, and the Visionary Partner Society.
- Conduct moves management activities including calls, hospital tours, private events, and in-person meetings.
- Enter all donor activity into CRM, track metrics, and analyze results.
- Promote the Foundation's visibility through community engagement and hospital events.
- Attend evening and weekend events as needed; participate in local travel and occasional conferences.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Foundation's mission.
