BUYER I

BS Degree in Business or related field (preferred) OR relevant industry experience.

Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge in industrial purchasing/contracting environment. Basic knowledge of purchasing and contracting departmental functions. Understanding of contractor/vendor qualification processes. Familiar with legal/contractual terminology.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of AS400 is a plus.
