President – Southland Industrial Coatings (SIC)

Location: Louisiana (Amite & Washington facilities with regional field operations)

Reports To: CEO

Southland Industrial Coatings (SIC) is seeking a President to lead, operate, and grow our industrial coatings and field services division. This role carries full P&L responsibility and executive oversight of multi-site operations, including galvanizing, industrial painting, fireproofing, and SIPA field services
.

This is a hands-on executive leadership role for an experienced coatings professional who thrives in operational environments and enjoys building teams, improving margins, and scaling a business through disciplined execution. The division is projected at approximately $40M in revenue in 2026
, with strong year-over-year growth expectations.

The President will operate with meaningful autonomy while partnering closely with the CEO and broader organization to build a scalable, high-performing coatings platform.

Operational Leadership

• Lead multi-site operations across:
• Amite, LA (galvanizing and industrial painting)
• Washington, LA (fireproofing and industrial painting)
• SIPA field services group
• Drive excellence in safety, quality, productivity, and schedule adherence
• Ensure effective coordination between shop operations and field execution

Financial & P&L Ownership

• Full responsibility for division-level P&L
• Own budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and cost controls
• Approve pricing, staffing, and capital expenditures
• Deliver consistent EBITDA and financial performance

Growth & Strategy

• Execute organic growth initiatives across coatings and field services
• Support acquisition integration and greenfield expansion as applicable
• Partner with sales and business development on customer strategy and execution
• Serve as a senior executive presence with key customers, EPCs, and contractors

People & Culture

• Build, lead, and develop high-performing operational and field leadership teams
• Establish a culture rooted in people, accountability, and execution
• Develop future leaders within the SIC organization
• Maintain alignment with company values and operating expectations

Performance in this role will be evaluated based on:

• Revenue growth and mix
• EBITDA and gross margin performance
• Operational throughput and efficiency
• Safety performance and incident prevention
• Quality performance and customer satisfaction
• Schedule reliability and execution consistency

• 15+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
• Industrial coatings
• Fireproofing
• Galvanizing
• SIPA / field-applied protective coatings
• Minimum 5 years in senior leadership with direct operational responsibility
• Proven experience leading multi-site operations
• Demonstrated success running and growing a business or division
• Strong understanding of production environments, field operations, and project execution
• Experience working directly with EPCs, general contractors, and industrial clients
• Track record of leading people and delivering results
