Responsible for the day-to-day management, operation, and accountability for a functional area. Makes decisions within guidelines that impact financial and performance objectives. Oversees staff, budget, and compliance for business services and admissions.
- Ensure departmental objectives and priorities are met daily.
- Develop and monitor departmental budgets and implement cost-saving measures.
- Maintain organized operations for efficiency and accuracy of work and information flow.
- Direct and coordinate staff activities, including hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- Oversee inpatient/outpatient admissions and registration processes for compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with nursing, finance, and other departments to integrate business services into patient care.
- Monitor key indicators for admitting/registration practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Implement new programs and procedures to improve services and operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
