What You Will Do:

Responsible for the day-to-day management, operation, and accountability for a functional area. Makes decisions within guidelines that impact financial and performance objectives. Oversees staff, budget, and compliance for business services and admissions.

  • Ensure departmental objectives and priorities are met daily.
  • Develop and monitor departmental budgets and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Maintain organized operations for efficiency and accuracy of work and information flow.
  • Direct and coordinate staff activities, including hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
  • Oversee inpatient/outpatient admissions and registration processes for compliance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with nursing, finance, and other departments to integrate business services into patient care.
  • Monitor key indicators for admitting/registration practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Implement new programs and procedures to improve services and operational efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a hospital admissions setting.
